Art in the Park
October 13 @ 6:00 pm - October 15 @ 4:00 pmFREE
The Highland Arts Council is set to celebrate world class art in the hometown atmosphere with its 14th annual Art in the Park. The two-day outdoor juried exhibit and sale of works by more than 65 professional artists will be held Oct. 13-15, 2017 at Lindendale Park in Highland, Ill., just 30 miles east of St. Louis.
Free and open to the public, Art in the Park will feature original works in a wide range of art mediums, including: painting, clay, glass, drawing/pastels, fabric/fiber, wood, sculpture, photography, jewelry, graphics/printmaking and mixed media.
On Friday Oct. 13, there will be a Preview Party for those who pre-pledge money for artwork. The Preview Party is the only place you can see the art before the general public and get your own money back to spend on art at the show.
If you would like to set up a booth, a non-refundable jury fee of $25 will be required for acceptance. Each approximate 10′ x 10′ booth fee is $225. Corner booth is an additional $25. AITP has a soft deadline of June 16, 2017 so that we can begin to assign booths. If you have more questions, please contact Lynnette Schuepbach, chair at 618-558-0054.
